Please help my son Joey

Donation protected
September 25th, 2019 was a day that drastically changed my son Joey and his family’s lives forever.  As many of you know He’s been riding motorcycles since he was 4 years old and was a very skilled rider.  Unfortunately on the 25th of September he was in a life changing accident due to unmarked construction on Kinderkamack rd. There was no construction signs, cones or anything notifying him of a gigantic hole in the road that was currently being worked on.  His bike unfortunately hit that hole causing his motorcycle to lose control and completely throw his entire body about ten feet off of the bike.  If he was lucky he would have landed on grass alongside the road or even the pavement but he unfortunately landed directly on a pile of boulders the homeowner was using as a protective barrier for cars god forbid somebody were to crash in front of their house especially on such a busy road.  Joey was in a coma for about almost three weeks and had almost lost his life due to his lungs collapsing and many other complications due to the accident.  The results from the crash left him paralyzed from the waist down, 8 broken vertebrae, 9 broken ribs and two brain injuries that left him without the ability to remember any short term memory and trouble speaking as well.  The most unfortunate result from the crash was my poor pregnant daughter in law who was about a month away from giving birth to their second son. Our entire family as had to endure the daily fear of losing our Joey forever. Thank god his wife Brittany gave birth to a beautiful healthy boy Roman and god decided It wasn’t his time to go.  He has been hospitalized since the accident with only a very brief time spent at home for about three weeks but was cut short due to extremely infected bed sores that he developed, one of which was on his sacrum which is the most dangerous area to develop a bed sore. Joey is still currently still in the hospital, receiving care trying to completely heal the sores. Unfortunately he is currently at a facility that doesn’t offer physical therapy which is extremely important for his recovery so we are all desperately trying to find another sub acute facility that offers what he needs to give himself a chance at recovering and hopefully the ability to walk again.   It’s been an extreme struggle for him and our family trying to financially support his wife and kids while being paralyzed from a hospital bed and not working and hospital and DR bills piling up at a vigorous rate.  I know things are tough for a lot of people right now due to the corona virus but I am asking for any bit of help that you can give toward this tragedy we are all trying to get through.  I know he dislikes even having to ask for the help but unfortunately right now he and his family are in desperate need of It.  Anything you can contribute to Joey and his family will be extremely appreciated and would relieve a lot stress from his everyday life which would enable him  to focus on his recovery.
