Jobless, Soon to be Homeless

Hello, My name is Crystal. In 2019 I moved across the country from Florida to Colorado for my "job". For the past 5 years, I have worked for the same employer and assisted them in starting up multiple businesses from billing companies, escape rooms, and even a cleaning company. This past week, I was informed on a Monday that the company was being sold and that I would no longer be employed. No thanks for all your hard work, no notice, just a black garbage bag to fill with all my stuff and get out. Unfortunately I was a 1099 independent contract for all that time and do not qualify for any assistance benefits.

Along with my work contract, it included the home that I was renting from my previous employer. So not only did I lose my job of 5 years, I was also told that I had until September 18th to Move Out of my home. This has been such a huge shock for me and I am coming to my last resort. Im trying to gather enough money to move and get a new place. Any and all donations will be used for a deposit for a new home.

I am a strong, hard working woman and this has made me feel extremely low. I dont know if anyone would be willing to donate anything. But i thought sometimes its ok to ask for help and here I am, asking for help.
