Hi! My name is Dixie Neace Kean. As some of you know, my brother, Norman Neace, is suffering from Stage 2 lung cancer. He is a 1983 graduate of Big Walnut High School, where he played both varsity and junior varsity basketball. He and his wife of 32 years, Connie (Lavendar) Neace have two wonderful children, Dominique, age 30 and Patton, age 23. They also have two beautiful grandchildren, Espen and Eija. Norman has been following his doctor's orders and began chemotherapy in April. After his first round, he was feeling tired and sometimes sick, his doctor told him he liked the results of his first scan, but he should do another round of the chemo. Norman was feeling sicker and more tired. His hair fell out. He's been working as much as he possibly could, including overtime when he felt good enough to actually get in a full week. He went for his second scan and got the results on Sept. 20. Sadly, the mass in his lung is growing. He started his third round of chemo that day. With every round, he gets sicker and sicker. He is still trying to work as much as he possibly can. Unfortunately, his bills are piling up. He needs help. If any of you are in a position to help him, it would be greatly appreciated. Even if that's simply saying a prayer for him. It's a shame that a man can work hard his entire life, then a disease, such as cancer can cause him to lose everything! No amount is too small and every single dime is appreciated. Every single prayer is appreciated. All funds will go directly to Norman and his family. Thank you so much and much love to you all.
