Nova
From bits of her background that’s been previously posted on social media and we have pieced together, Nova has had a few owners but her background we don’t know much about.
We believe she was with a man and then was found by the dog warden as he had illness and couldn’t care for her. This has came from her previous owner.
She then went to a rescue and was rehomed again. Again we not 100% sure it’s just what we are being told via old social media comments. We aren’t sure how many homes she’s had.
Her new owner now, came across a post of her being up to be rehomed. She went to see her and brought her home as she couldn’t leave her there.
Previous owners before she went to her current owner, from what we gather have taken her to a few vets. One saying reaction and another chemical burns. So when her new owner had her she was under the impression chemical burns from being left in a cage. We are still waiting to get her background information from previous vets.
I saw her 4 days after she was in her new owners care and she had been severely neglected and knew I had to help so set up this go fund me.
we took her to Straitons in Penkridge, where she had a skin scrap and under the microscope it confirmed she had dermoex mites and scabies.
Her condition means she’s been neglected for some time, she was literally a bag of bones.
shes still in veterinary hospital.
We have asked for as much info on her background from previous posts we have came across on Facebook from her old owners posts but we still are trying to piece her puzzle together
The more we know I’ll update
Day 2
Hospital, she’s had another good night, she’s looking happy and alert. She’s responding the medication well. Her skin’s looking better.
once her skins under control. She will then have her operation on her foot as her skins too weak to cut open and her legs are too swollen for a cannula but she’s drinking well.
im going to see her myself today to take her some treats. I will update again
please please share and donated she really is in the best hands.
I cannot thank her vets enough. Straitons at penkridge are amazing. The communication, the standard of care, the love and attention she’s getting, all what she deserves.
only 10 months old and suffered like this. We still are trying to piece her background together
