Please help Orlando live

Orlando is 11 years old....he was a feral cat when rescued but young enough to tame & bring inside. He's recently been diagnosed with a hyperthyroid condition and with radio-active treatment can survive & live a long healthy life. Our vet said he is an ideal candidate for this procedure...he's otherwise very healthy & strong. The treatment cost is $2000.00+ and is far beyond what I can afford at this time. I've rescued over 50 stray cats over many years, never asked for financial help, and worked hard to find the necessary funds to take care of all of them.
