Please help Orlin - Victim of gun violence

Hello all, I come to you seeking help. Our close and dear friend Orlin (age 20) was recently a victim of a horrible and scarring event. On Sunday evening outside of his own home while returning from Bart after picking his stepfather up, Orlin was unfortunately caught in the crossfire of a violent shooting happening in his neighborhood in Richmond. He was struck twice by the flying bullets. One of the bullets went through his body, only after grazing his left ribs - the other hit his colon and did not exit his body. Due to the severity of the bullet wounds, he was transported to a hospital via ambulance to go into a difficult 3 hour emergency surgery. Since then, Orlin has been bed bound without a set discharge date, making it difficult for Orlin to think positively since his income makes a great impact on the well being of his family. For a few years now, Orlin has been striving to help his mother support for his younger sister and grandmother by working two jobs at times to help cover bills. Orlin and his family now reside in Richmond due to the high rise in rent in his hometown of San Francisco. Orlin currently commutes between San Francisco and Richmond everyday to maintain his job located in SF. Now that Orlin is in such condition there is no say as to when he’ll be able to return to his job and provide for his family, leaving him and his family stuck in a difficult economic situation. With medical expenses piling up and now Orlin’s family looking to leave his current neighborhood because of the traumatizing incident, I kindly ask for donations to help Orlin and his family overcome this hardship. All contributions will help go towards Orlin’s hospital stay and change of housing. Thank you.
