Hello everyone,

I am sorry I haven't updated this sooner but I want to thank everyone for their generosity and gina is doing well, here at home getting in home services. She is still non weight bearing on her right side, 6 days will get sling off arm and hoping to start PT on right elbow. Will try to update more often. Thanks again! Gina says Thank you all!!!

My dear daughter Gina was hit by a vehicle on July 21, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. while crossing the street in a designated crosswalk. She was immediately taken to the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Mass General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.

Gina's entire right side was shattered as a result of the accident. She received broken ribs, toes, nose, cheekbone, and many facial and head lacerations. Gina also sustained a shattered elbow in two places, a broken clavicle, a broken shoulder, and small skull fractures, numerous compound fractures to her right leg that will require metal rods, plates, and screws.

Gina has undergone emergency surgery to stop a pelvic bleed that required several blood transfusions. Since July 21, 2023, Gina has undergone multiple expensive ($$$) surgeries, four in the first week alone, with more on the horizon. She still awaiting require surgery for her shoulder and collarbone. The doctors are keeping an eye on her brain bleed.
