Please help our dear Sheila K. Baker

Hi my name is Robyn McNamara and Sheila Baker is one of my ride or die friends. We have known each other for over 20 years. Friends are people you choose to want to be around. Friends are there when you need them or maybe not, but that shows their loyalty and respect.

Friends, Sheila had had a medical emergency. On Sunday, 8/20/23, while out at a restaurant celebrating Oliver’s 13th birthday, she collapsed and was unconscious. She was rushed to the hospital where it was believed she had had a brain aneurysm. She was rushed into the Operating Room and was in surgery for 6 hours. During the procedure they found one aneurysm as well as an additional aneurysm had also occurred.

Sheila is a FIGHTER! Doctors have done rounds this morning and said, while she is still heavily sedated, she has been responsive when she was awake, her eyes will follow the nurses finger as well as squeeze her right hand when asked.

While this is some promising news, there is a very long road ahead. Jason is getting the boys to and from school (today was the first day of school for Oliver and Max! ) and to try and keep some sort of normalcy, since children are not allowed in the ICU.

Jason needs to maintain the house (rent) and Utilities (bills, groceries, etc) The loss of Shelia’s income will hit them at the core and SOON.

I, we, us, are asking for your help to keep this family afloat. We never anticipate that something like this will happen to us but it does, and it did!
