PLEASE HELP OUR FELLOW JEWISH FRIEND WITH MS

Hi, I am Gale Milgrim and a member of the Orlando Jewish Community. As you know I am very involved in helping to make our Greater Orlando area a better place to live by spreading goodness and kindness and doing Mitzvahs everyday. There is a lady in our Jewish community that has come upon hard times that has Multiple Sclerosis, uses a walker at only 60-something years old, takes Chemo often for her illness and is too young for Social Security. She is a former Registered Nurse and gives so very much back to our community through the RAISE group that tutors disadvantaged and challenged kids with their schoolwork at the JCC. She has not had luck getting hired and to top it off, she had a massive flood in her home, due to a burst water heater, 7 months ago and has been displaced to a hotel for this entire time with her little doggie. Her homeowners insurance is paying for the hotel and they are finally getting on track with starting her renovation but the trouble is her home plumbing is 65 years old. It makes no sense to renovate the home, if this issue is not dealt with. Her house will be subject to another flood at any time if this re-plumb is not done. In addition her Homeowners insurance will likely be dropped if she doesn't do this and it will be impossible to insure here home with original pipes. Would you please consider helping her as she needs funds for this and to live decently. She is alone, has no family at all, they are all deceased, and no where to turn. No agencies in town have come forward to help her. She has tried to find work but to no avail at this time. This could happen to just about any of us, a donation of any amount would be appreciated. If you make a donation I will be sure to pass it along to her as she is anxious to get her renovation started.
