Please help our parents with medical expenses

Hello,

We are Morgan and Chynna McComsey, and we created this GoFundMe for our parents, Robin and Eric. To tell their story we need to start in 2019 when our mother first got diagnosed with Endometrial Cancer. She had a full hysterectomy, chemo, and radiation. We were all overjoyed the day she rang the bell and we thought this would be behind us. About a year ago, in spring 2022, the Cancer came back in her lungs and lymph nodes and Robin tried to fight it naturally, as the doctors would not do surgery to remove the masses. Then, what she thought was Vertigo ended up being two masses in her brain. After some harsh radiation to her brain and steroids, we were thinking things could be over. Around January 2023 our mother started getting rather large Styes in her eyes causing pain and then with all her medications she ended up with Colitits (it was a possible side-effect of all her medications). In thinking things could only get better, our father, Eric, then lost his job at the beginning of February 2023 because his "position was no longer needed". April 2023 over Easter our mother ended up in the hospital for chronic diarrhea. She was there for 2 weeks while the doctors tried to keep her hydrated and attempted to figure out just what was going on. With hope May 1st, 2023 our parents went to the Penn Medicine Cancer Research Center in Philadelphia (part of the Civic Center location); where they were informed that she does not qualify for any cancer treatment trials at this time. They recommend that she try chemotherapy again first to see what happens.

Through all of this, our father has been fighting to find a job and medical bills just keep piling up.

Please, help us help our parents. They are members of LCBC Manheim and also Florin Church of the Brethren(the church we grew up going to). Our parents are the most selfless people who have done nothing but spend their adult lives giving back. They are the most amazing parents, friends, and grandparents. With all that they have given us in this life, we just want to give back to them. Please help us make their lives a little less stressful, in the most stressful of times.
