Please help Brandi Kosch, LEGENDARY bartender!!
My name is Randy Gauwitz. I have had the supreme honor of being Brandi Kosch's fiance & companion for the past 22 years.
Due to unexpected circumstances, Brandi passed unto the next realm on Thursday, August 22, 2024, after suffering a debilitating double kidney and liver infection, and then contracting pneumonia and sepsis during her extended hospital stay.
Brandi Kosch was known over the years as BOATS, BIMBO, BIG B, B, or just, HEY BITCH... always with love & admiration.
Brandi was hired on as a bartender in Downtown Peoria IL by the Adam's family in the early 1990's, after she had spent 4 years in the USN, last serving on the USS Salvor (ARS-52), sailing out of Hickham Air Force Base, Honolulu, HI USA as a BM3-Boastswain's Mate, Petty Officer 3rd class.
This began a long, illustrious career as one of Peoria's best-known, bar industry legends on Main Street and a pillar of character, strength and humanity on the 500 & 600 blocks.
Her time behind the bar encompassed over 30 years of unforgettable, never to be duplicated service & comraderie.
Unfortunately, Brandi didn't have life insurance or VA benefits set up prior to her death, and I am currently not able to work due to my own medical conditions.
I am asking for your monetary help with her end of life services, everyday necessities & up keep for her home and dogs.
