Please Help Phoenix Stellamaris

Phoenix has friends that are still donating, so we are continuing our goal to ensure she has a place to stay while she waits for housing.

We've been working on long term stays, which are difficult to reserve at times, and trying to find good deals.

She is grateful, we all are!

Hi, My name is Rebecca and I'm fundraising for Phoenix Stellamaris. Phoenix is age 71 with disabilities that eventually ended her ability to perform as a musician. She has been homeless since June 1st, 2023, and living in her car in Olympia, Washington. Phoenix has been a creative icon in the Charlotte, NC community for many years and now really needs our help.

This fundraiser is to put Phoenix up in a low cost hotel in Olympia to get her out of the freezing temperatures.

Many people know Phoenix as a regular performer at Noda, always creative edgy with her wildly colored hair or her shaved head. Phoenix is known to be so supportive to all of the other musicians and performers wherever she went, but especially in her Charlotte Community.

Phoenix moved to Olympia with hopes of a fresh start, and like many people in this tight housing market, her situation fell through. She's living in her car with night temperatures near 20 degrees. I hope the Charlotte community will come together and help Phoenix as she waits to be chosen for affordable housing. She has touched all of our lives in good ways. She is truly a generous and kind spirit and I think we all want to see her life stabilized so she may rise again.

Our goal is to raise enough money to put Phoenix into a low-cost hotel in Olympia, for as many nights as possible. Please donate what you can. She really needs a break from the cold.
