Please help Pisik, He needs urgent surgery!

Aloha, This year wasn't very happy for us (besides the move to Hawaii).

First, the war in my home country, where all my relatives still reside (West of Ukraine), and have been volunteering for the past seven months, then a personal family tragedy, and now Pisik... Pisik is my little sunshine and twin soul; I love him dearly and just can't imagine not having him in my life; I have never had such a connection with another living creature. Unfortunately, he got infected with FIV shortly after we moved and got an internal infection in his chest at the beginning of August, which led him to where he is now.

Long story short, at the beginning of August he got very sick, God knows what we went through to bring him back, and we did!! I couldn’t believe it and called it a pure miracle…..up until Saturday, September 3rd when he started having issues breathing. Sunday morning took him to ER, where they immediately took him in as an urgent patient.

His lungs started leaking air into his chest cavity, and he nearly suffocated on the inside+FIV.  They pumped out 1L of air and admitted him in. Doc said we would hope that his lungs will close down on their own, but on September 8th, she said she doesn’t believe it will happen, and he needs urgent surgery that will be anywhere from 11K to 14K!!;( and we already spend nearly all our possible resources multi-k… we simply helpless. 

Fortunately, we have a wonderful ER Criticallist -Doctor Pfeifer and Surgeon - Dr. Lam, who went absolutely above and beyond to save his life. Dr. Lam came in to perform surgery on Pisik on his day off(!!)- September 11th, without me having the total funds on hand. The surgery went well, and Pisik is going to live!!!! -20% of his left lungs.

But he is promised to have a perfectly normal life after he heals... <3

I truly appreciate everyone who helped and prayed for him!

We collected nearly 9.000 and still need to get about 4.000 to close the bill.
