Please help Ray fight Pancreatic cancer.

Donation protected

On May 1st Ray went to the ER with some back pain, weight loss and jaundice after he had been pressured by me to get checked for some time thinking his diabetes may be to blame or gallstones you know something other than this...They took us back in a little room urging him to stay because they found a mass on his pancreas that they needed to biopsy and he would need a stent as well...we stayed in the little hospital bed and the next day the biopsy was done and the stent was placed. They also started him on insulin which he had never been on. Drs and nurses and the surgeon came in throughout the next few days providing us w information and informed us of what was coming ahead and ok to release him in hopes of surgery to remove the cancer in the coming weeks. After a scan a few days before his scheduled surgery called a Whipple we were called back in and told it was no longer operable and is around a vein and was(( is)) possibly on his liver.

Ray is only 43 and nothing prepares you for this . After visiting w one oncologist that I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy and dealing with set back after set back we were lucky to get Ray into Moffit the #1 in Florida and they have treated him so well.

To say the past 4 months has been a rollercoaster is putting it lightly. He was put on the strongest chemo regimen in hopes to shrink it enough for the surgery and has been fighting like hell every day since this all began .. I am so proud of him..This man does not handle colds well and can't even get mad at me for saying that because he knows it's true but this cancer ,this he is a Champ, a Warrior and though chemo has been rough he is handling it all amazingly ..We have been shook and it seems like everything is happening all at once and we were just not prepared. We know prayers and good vibes work so please please please keep them coming and if you can please help him (us) w a donation anything will help and we are so very grateful and thankful for you for anything.. We are both very prideful people and God knows I have really tried these past 4 months to keep it all together without coming to this but he really cannot work while undergoing this chemo and he doesn't get any FMLA and disability and things are taking time so any help will be much appreciated .I don't know what else to say but thank you from the bottom of my heart
