Please help Rebecca get through Highschool

Hello friends! Our nanny’s daughter is a bright, sweet girl just beginning high school In Uganda. Here, you must take a test to see which school you can go to based upon how well you score. She scored at the top so now she has an opportunity to go to a good school. However, schools here aren’t free—the Christian boarding school that accepted her is 1.3 million UGX or $350.00 per term (3 terms in one year). There’s no such thing as a free public education here. If my nanny (who is a single mom) cannot pay tuition, her daughter will drop out of school at 15 years old. I cannot sit idly by and watch this smart girl not be able to get an education. I have set up a GoFund Me account to support her in paying tuition. She doesn’t know I’m doing this and I cannot wait to surprise her with funds to cover (at least) her first year of HS. I know times are hard with inflation but if you could skip just one Starbucks stop and donate $5 to help, you will be changing this young girl’s LIFE! Maybe some of you even have a church or a business willing to help give this young girl an education?

The other morning my nanny said, “I can skip some meals and go without some of my daily things to make sure she gets a good education. God will provide for me.” Could you even imagine not eating and giving up your basic daily necessities so your kid could go to school? She is strong in her faith and is obedient to the Lord.
