Please help Renee Williamson's fight with Adenocarcinoma

How do you sum up Renee Williamson in a short small paragraph? It's not easy. But I will try.

Renee, 65 years old, is a triplet, born and raised in Vidor, TX by her wonderful parents who raised her to be the giving and loving person we all know. Renee was raised with 2 brothers and 6 sisters, all whom you may know as "The Ellis Family". As a daughter of a family so large, she learned to give at a young age (even when she didn't want to). She also followed in her mom's footsteps and became one of THE MOST kind-hearted, nurturing nurses in this world. She's empathetic, she listens, she soothes heartaches and wounds. She's the one you want on your side. She has been known to give the last $5 she has until payday to a stranger on the street, just so they don't go without. She has let people experiencing homelessness sleep in her garage - even though her family thought she was crazy. Her answer is always "I will have to answer to the Lord one day, and I want him to know I tried to walk in his footsteps the best I could".

I could continue going on and on about the countless, selfless acts of kindness that she has thrown throughout the world but let's get to the point....The woman who has helped so many others..well, she needs our help now.

On May 7, Renee found out that she had multiple spots on her body, a 2-inch mass on her lung as well as spots on her spine, spleen, and head. After further testing, she found out she has stage 4 adenocarcinoma. Although we have not heard the FULL extent of her treatment plan, we do know for the next 3 weeks she will have to do radiation treatment 5 days a week in Houston. That's a lot of travel expenses as well as being unable to work due to the amount of pain and the amount of treatments she's getting.

Her single income has barely helped her survive as it is and we really didn't want to ask for handouts but we are not sure what else to do. On June 21, we will have an in-person fundraiser in Vidor, Texas but we need to help get income in quickly as her personal bills are piling up on top of the medical bills getting ready to come in.

Any little bit helps. We understand donating may not be feasible in this day and time (DON'T GET ME STARTED ON INFLATION). So we do ask if you cannot donate to please stop and pray for our sweet mama because only HE can help the doctors work the miracles. Only HE can lay healing hands on her!
