PLEASE HELP RESTORE OUR FOREST SCHOOL
Donation protected
Please help us to restore our beloved forest school.
Castle Hill High School in Stockport is a special school for students, aged 11-18, with significant and complex needs.
During the half-term break an intruder broke into the school grounds, deliberately setting fire to the forest school container, destroying everything.
Forest school is an amazing educational approach to outdoor learning, designed to inspire all pupils. The real power of Forest school is its multi-sensory environment. This child-centred learning is integral in meeting the needs of the diverse range of children who attend at Castle Hill High School.
Children can learn about and interact with their natural environment, use their own initiative to solve problems, work closely with others, explore and take supported risk, particular benefits include gaining more independence, developing confidence and self esteem.
The equipment used to keep forest school operating has been damaged beyond repair. Please help to raise funds to replace what was damaged in the fire.
We are hugely grateful for any donation, small or large, that you can help to restore this much-loved area for the children.
Thank you for your support and generosity, it means so much.
