Please help Rob Lovell and Family

Hi, my name is Gary and I have started this fundraiser for Rob who needs our help right now. I have known Rob for over 20 years and I have never met a more hard-working, professional and dedicated person.

Rob has been diagnosed with Metastatic Prostate Cancer and has been advised that he may only have 18 months to 2 years left. Before this Rob has undergone multiple treatment programs including chemotherapy, radiation, and hormone treatment. Rob is currently having ongoing chemotherapy treatment. His treatment costs are substantial with his bill for medication alone being $500 per month.

Despite all of this treatment and ill health, Rob has somehow managed to work 60 hours per week with two jobs at Indooroopilly Golf Club and Jindalee Golf Club for the majority of this time. He has done this in order to meet his day-to-day bills and to reduce his family’s debt level as much as he can, while he can. He has also used up all of his leave entitlements during the treatment programs.

The purpose of this fundraiser is to obtain some financial support for Rob and his family to cover his medical bills and to help to pay off his house mortgage. Rob knows that he will not be able to keep up his working hours at this level for much longer and will be very appreciative of any financial assistance that is provided.

If the house mortgage can be reduced or paid out (this would require $100,000), this would reduce the level of stress that Rob and his family are under. All funds raised will be provided to Rob.
