Please help Rob with costs of 6th brain surgery

I’m writing this to help my brother Rob cover costs of his 6th brain surgery.
At age 15, while out surfing, my brother, Robert Fain, suffered a massive brain hemorrhage & stroke. He was medi-vaced to Queens Medical Center on Oahu where he was placed in a medically induced coma & nearly died. He was diagnosed with an arteriovenous malformation (AVM), which is a rare congenital defect—a tangle of abnormal blood vessels.
His AVM was one of the largest & most complicated the doctors had ever seen. Without surgery to remove it, the chance of another hemorrhage, & one that would be fatal, was extremely high.
Since his first surgery in 2004, his AVM has grown back several times requiring more brain surgeries (most 10-12 hr procedures). Over the past 18 years, he’s undergone 5 neurosurgeries. All surgeries pose a risk & especially when it comes to brain surgery. Some of his neurosurgeries required longer than expected hospital stays and there were several emergency hospitalizations (on Oahu) months later due to post surgical complications.
Just when Robert thought everything was behind him, he found out last month that the AVM had grown back & would need another surgery to prevent any further hemorrhaging. Although the news was not what he was hoping for, he’s trusting God in & thru this. Surgery is scheduled for Aug. 16th in Phoenix, Arizona.
These AVM resections are costly procedures (almost $100,000 before insurance) and there are a lot of out of pocket expenses he incurs. During this upcoming surgery, they are also planning to bring in a specialist to repair the bone in his forehead that did not fuse back together properly after all of these surgeries.
I humbly ask that you pray for successful procedures & outcomes for Robert and to also consider contributing, even in a small way, towards the costs of his upcoming surgeries.
All funds will go towards his medical expenses. Thank you!
