Please help Robin during recovery from surgery

For those of you who do not know I am soon to face a very serious surgery which will affect my life greatly for a while. I realize many people are going through their own special kind of hell right now and this one is mine. I have a leaky mitral valve in my heart so I am going to have open heart surgery. I will recover in the hospital for a while then my mother's and then home but I will not be allowed to drive for at least a month and will not be able to work for at least 2+ months. I am hoping I can pick up where I left off but one can never know so my methods of income and lifestyle will be greatly compromised. Life has been crazy for everyone lately but I have kept up with my volunteering with several organizations and supported whoever I could and now it is my turn to ask for support. If you are willing and able, any amount you could offer would be greatly appreciated and helpful so that stress about my bills is lowered. It is difficult for me to ask such a thing but the time has come. I am very independent but now I must learn to let the medical team, my family and friends care for me and help me along this difficult path.
