Please help Ruth Airey Vidal fight cancer

Several weeks ago, our beloved mom, Ruth, went to the doctor because of a virus and extreme fatigue that she couldn't shake. After a series of tests, it was discovered that she has bile duct cancer. This is a pretty uncommon and aggressive form of cancer. At first she was told that there was no chance of surgery or a full cure. However, after transferring her care to Memorial Sloan Kettering, her prognosis is slightly better and surgery may be an option! To access the amazing and person-centered care at Sloan, we relocated Mom and she will be living with Leah in Manhattan. This Go Fund Me will hopefully help Mom with the expenses of lost wages (yes she's still working at 75!), relocation, transportation (to and from treatment), - and goodness knows what else we will discover along the way.
