Help Ryan Holland during this difficult time.

If you know Ryan Holland, you probably know what a kind and stand-up guy he is. And if you don’t, anyone of those who do can tell you. Ryan would give the shirt off his back for anyone and is always helping others. He is the kind of person that does good things even when no one is watching.
Recently, Ryan has recently been diagnosed with a very rare form of internal squamous cell carcinoma with PNI (perineural invasion). This cancer has characteristics that make it very aggressive, spreading quickly and easily, as well as very hard to treat without reoccurrence. He is in stage 3 and has developed a mass that has taken over and infiltrated his sinus cavities almost entirely, to the point it has corroded the bones and cartilage in that area, as well as the left orbital area with the tumor now wrapping itself around the muscles behind his left eye. As well as being as serious as it is, it has also become, at times, unbearably painful.
Because Ryan’s cancer is so rare and invasive, Panama City does not have the specialized resources he needs. He has already traveled three times to UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL as well as the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL. The Moffitt oncologist felt that Ryan’s disease would be best treated at Memorial Sloan-Kettering (MSK) in New York City, which is ranked #1 in the U.S. for head and neck cancer treatment (by US Health).
Last week, he spent 1 week in New York developing a treatment plan with his team of four doctors that are working together on his case. Ryan has been told he will have to make 5-6 separate trips. One of which being a 7-9 week straight stay for radiation therapy. He will also require at least one surgery if not more.
Ryan is self-employed as a handyman. He has already missed a good bit of work to travel for tests and doctors’ appointments, and we expect he will soon need to stop work completely for an undetermined amount of time. Together, he and his partner Christence support themselves along with their 3 kids, combined. Christence has and will be missing a lot of work, too, in order to care for him.
All funds donated will go towards help with bills and living expenses due to missed work, help with travel expenses for medical tests, appointments, and treatment, as well as help covering out-of-pocket medical costs.
Please consider helping Ryan and his family during this difficult time and please share to anyone that might be able to help as well. And most importantly please continue to pray and send love and healing energy to Ryan and his family during this difficult time. Thank you for taking the time to read and consider. Much love to you all!
