The Smith Appleby House museum repairs

Hi, my name is Michelle, I volunteer for the Smith Appleby house museum in Smithfield Rhode Island, a historical landmark over 320 years old, which is situated on land that was Granted by Roger Williams!

The museum is in dire need of funds to repair the siding of the main house and the caretaker's cabin.

The pandemic has taken it's toll in regards to our fund raising events in the past 2 years as well as our ability to gain volunteers for said events, which has severely hindered our ability to raise funds.

We have applied for several grants, one of which pays the yearly bills to keep the museum open and another requires some substantial monetary donations by the museum, which we cannot provide due to lack of funds.
