Please help save Cupid (now Samson)

Update on this sweet soul:
Samson needs two major surgeries to fix his front legs. The left leg (the good leg) needs surgery (pan arthrodesis). It needs to be strong and stable enough to withhold long term.
The right leg is in such bad shape. Auburn university can reconstruct the right leg, but it’s is going to be a HUGE UNDERTAKING. Costing close to 10,000. We may need to amputate.
We appreciate all the support during this time. He has a long way to go, but he is so happy through it all. Thank you to everyone who has shared / donated!
Cupid (Samson is his name now, which means overcomer) was found in Elmore county yesterday laying outside under someone’s shed. He was so weak and was unable to walk. After taking him to the vet this morning we found out that he is heart worm positive and anemic from flea infestations and intestinal parasites. He is such a sweet boy. Loves to give kisses and wags his tail. His front two legs are deformed. He is being evaluated currently to come up with a plan to help him. If you would donate to his care it would be a blessing.
