Plz help Debbie afford essential chemo, meds etc.

Please help get the needed chemo, medications and other out of pocket necessities to aid Debbie’s road to a full recovery. ❤️

 Firstly, have to say that Debbie is the most amazing, selfless, compassionate woman that I have ever had the good fortune to meet. I love her from the bottom of my heart.

 She is an acute canine Herbalism expert. After her heart dog Koda (A Sheltie) died of cancer she set up Kodas Kare, a foundation in his name. Since February 2018 she has worked tirelessly helping sick pups fight various illnesses with top-notch, free, holistic care. She has helped 3 of my fur-babies. It is now my turn to try and help her however I can in her moment of extreme need.

 During Covid her husband lost his job and had to finally relocate from Edmonton to Alberta to find a new one. During this time sadly they lost their home. Finally, Debbie was able to join him and slowly they endeavored to put their financial lives back together. Although right now they are surviving paycheck to paycheck.

Last February Debbie started to feel pain under her arm and into her chest just by the collarbone. She thought this was from exercise. In March she found a small lump. Finding a family doctor proved impossible! It wasn't until May 19 that she finally got in for a visit to a doctor for a preliminary visit.

This was followed by a mammogram and ultrasound and on 24 May she was unfortunately diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Specifically; HER2-positive invasive ductal carcinoma stage 2; together with a malignant metastatic carcinoma in her lymph nodes.

 Debbie didn’t get to see a surgeon until July 4.

This is a very aggressive form of cancer that is treatable. There was light at the end of what had been a very long tunnel and she was given a date to start her chemotherapy. She was also informed that she would need a "chemotherapy cocktail" of different medications. Most of these are covered by Medicare and insurance. Unfortunately, one of the most effective medications called Perjeta is not.

 Debbie's cancer is extremely aggressive, it multiplies like wildfire. This drug specifically targets the cancer cells, and facilitates killing them!

 She needs this drug to survive...It costs $3200.00 for the first dose and $1600.00 for each of the remaining 5 cycles of treatment.

She is not likely to survive without this course of treatment. Without it, barring a miracle she will die!

 Debbie is a God-loving woman who deserves better than this from the system that seems to be failing her and many others at the moment. She absolutely needs these treatments. I am asking you all to please help me get her the money she needs to move forward with her chemotherapy. They of course require payment up front for each round of treatment. 

Times post-Covid are very hard for many of us. Please know that we will be grateful for ANY amount of money that you can donate towards her treatment. Every single dollar will be valued; no amount that you are able to send will be considered too small.
