Please Help Save Sim's Life: Urgent Vet Care Needed!
Donation protected
Sim's story began about 12 years ago when I found him as a tiny kitten in a wet cardboard box in an abandoned house. From that moment on, he literally lived snuggled inside my warm hoodie his entire kitten life, even into his adult years. Ever since then, he has helped me emotionally survive some of the most difficult moments in my life. He even helped me survive my older brother committing suicide.
Lately, Sim has been drastically losing weight in a very short amount of time. He's extremely thirsty and always hungry no matter how much he eats. He's very thin and he's not gaining any weight. It's extremely sad watching him waste away and not being able to do anything. Imagine watching your own furbaby suffer and you can't do anything about it.
His vet recommended a physical, bloodwork panel, x-rays, and treatment if needed. She suspects that he has Hyperthyroidism which can be fatal if not treated soon. Sims is one of the most lovable and cuddly cats ever. He deserves medical treatment because he's a great pet.
I feel extremely helpless because I can't afford more vet visits for possible treatment because I don't have the funds. My serious physical health issues overwhelm my life and prevent me from working.
I am a liver transplant recipient and also suffer from late-stage kidney disease. I’ve had many surgeries in my abdomen over the years to save my life. These have taken a major toll on my body, and I'm unable to work at all. Sims means the world to me, so I'm going to try to do anything to try to save him.
If you are able to donate, PLEASE Do! If you can't donate, then PLEASE share this Go Fund Me. Thank you to everyone!
