Mini, 2 pigs, still need to be castrated.

SaveTheHorses wants to help animal control because there are times authorities need to confiscate animals to save them from abuse, starvation and neglect. April 18, 2021, animal control called and asked us to hold 8 animals and explained that the court date was in 10 days. We agreed and assumed we would be able to castrate the boys and rehome in a few weeks.
There was miniature mare and her 3 week old colt, who had an eye injury, He immediately went to the vet for surgery and animal control repaid us for the $750 bill. There were two male goats still intact and stinky to high heaven like male goats do. Then there was the Pig family, Momma, Daddy and two piglets. Ten days passed and we found out the original owner got a continuance. More time passed and more continuances followed. Finally 978 days later, 32 1/2 months, on December 20, 2023, we finally get custody of the 8 animals.
Being reasonable in the cost of care price at $7 a day for 8 animals for 976 days = $54,656.00
This was a county case so SaveTheHorses gets no restitution, not a penny of the $54k plus. If it was a state case, we could have tried to get 'Cost of Care' This is where you donations go. We have no regrets, they deserved the best care and they received much love from volunteers everyday.
This is why we are asking for help.5 of these males need to be castrated.
Milo is the miniature horse. Castration $400 Pig Newton is the daddy pig.Castration $500 Chipmunk is the son pig. Castration,$500. The goats are Stinky Castration $300 and Horny Castration $300.These are estimated from a local veterinarian office and the University of Tennessee.
