Please help Scott in his battle with Cancer

No family is perfect, but anyone who has met mine knows that we have a pretty damn close family and our father, bother-in-law, and uncle - Scott is the heart of our family.

Unfortunately, earlier this year, our family received some tough news when Scott was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer with no cure. Thankfully, there are treatments available that Scott is undergoing, but the financial toll on the family is quickly becoming another battle. Being off work, trips to Vancouver, places to stay, etc., is very costly and just another burden in an already stressful time. If you are in a position where you are able to give, we would appreciate any donations to help the family cover these costs and allow Scott to put all of his efforts toward fighting cancer.

Scott's character is so generous that when someone was stealing the fruit from his lunch, he simply packed double the fruit to share because he said, "they must need it as much as I do". All we can hope is that Scott receives some of the same generosity that he so constantly gives.

In the case that any donations are not needed for Scott's treatment and associated costs, the excess funds will be donated to Cancer foundations.
