Please help Scott Pierce with his Stroke Recovery
Donation protected
On Monday, March 6th, much-loved husband, father and friend Scott suffered a major stroke. After being admitted to the hospital it was discovered that he had a large inoperable blood clot on the right side of his brain that is affecting the left side of his body. On Tuesday, he was airlifted to Virginia Mason in Seattle where they are better equipped to treat his condition. Since arriving in Seattle, he has had physical and speech therapy. It has been determined that Scott will have a long road of recovery ahead including extensive rehabilitation.
Laurie has been by Scott’s side since the incident and will continue to do so. Brandon and Marissa continue to also take time off and travel to Seattle to be with their dad.
If you know Scott and Laurie, you know what wonderful individuals they are. These two are always willing to jump in and help those in need. They go the extra mile to make individuals feel welcomed, thought of and loved. Neither of them would hesitate to give the shirt off their back to anyone.
In their time of need, it is our turn to step up and show them how much they are loved and cared for. The family will need help financially. With mounting medical bills, travel expenses, approaching rehab and daily living expenses, the need for our help is considerable.
At this time, it is unknown when Scott will be able to return to work, or how long his recovery will take.
Scott, the extreme New England Patriots fan, and funnyman who makes everyone laugh needs our help. If you can help, please know it will be greatly appreciated.
