Please help send my mom, Teresa, Home!

Hello everyone. My name is Daija and I am Teresa Stafford’s Daughter. My mom unexpectedly passed away July 15th, 2023. My whole world was/is shattered. She was only 40 years old, and was looking forward to driving me back to college a month later. She was so happy I was back home for the summer. 

If she looks familiar, my mom was born and raised in White Center and lived her life between there and Burien. She went to Evergreen high school, was a camp leader at Waskowitz for years, and she worked at the liquor store and Silers licensing for a long time. She definitely put a smile on a lot of people’s faces.

Her birthday is March 6th and I am hoping to do a celebration of life for her around that weekend. She was a lover and loved by many so I want to do it big for her. The majority of this money will go towards service costs, planning, my transportation from the other side of the state, executing it, and my emotional support. $500 of the funds will be used to rebuy the ring I got her for Mother’s Day 2021. I believe it was stolen from her in her final moments.

During these two months since she has passed I've had to re-home our two beloved dogs, move homes, and go back to school. I am a 19 year old college student with 3 jobs. Any support is greatly appreciated as I go through my sophomore year doubling as a service planner and student. Any financial support is greatly appreciated.

More than anything I want my mom back. I miss her every single second of every single day. Thank you so much for sharing, donating and reading.
