Pls help Shahram and his family for sponsorship

sponsorship in Canada.

• Name: Shahram, Sara, Shayan(15 years), Ana(2 years), Arta(8 months)

• Background: Persian. Iran

• Current Location: Indonesia for 7 years.

• Risk of returning: knowing the brutal fate of religion converter in Iran, persecuted

• Needs: $35,000 CAD to fund private sponsorship to Canada.

Context:

Shahram's family fled from Iran because of convert the religion to Christian in 2014. They have UNCHR

refugee status and have been waiting for resettlement for

7 years in Indonesia (they are not allowed to work or have basic human rights, even kids don’t have

permit to study and go to school. They have difficultly for daily expenses which they are receiving very

small amount from their family in their hometown.

The UNHCR has informed them that they will have no chance of resettlement at least for next few years

through UNHCR so their only option is to seek private sponsorship in Canada. We need to raise $35,000

CAD for sponsorship before we can start the legal process in Canada.

All of the money from GoFundMe is sent to a dedicated bank account here which will be wire

transferred to a trust in Canada when we are ready to begin the legal process. Please get in touch if you

Shahram's Story:

My name is Shahram. I am refugee in Indonesia. I believed on Jesus since 2011.

and I had worship in the secret Church.

Unfortunately, Church found by the Islamic regime security forces.

Due to harsh persecution as a religion converter in the Islamic republic of Iran, me and my family (wife, 8

years old son) had to leave everything and flee the country.

we land to Indonesia in 2014, and We registered in UNHCR office and granted refugee.

Staying in Indonesia means a constant struggle to survive, excluded from all aspects of regular life. We

are desperate to find a home and live a normal life. We are living with no rights to work, study, any No

access to medical insurance and even having a bank account

going school, going gym and be in society.

Unfortunately, we have been informed by UNHCR several times that refugees here have no chance to

resettle through them. Just they resettle refugees now through G5 sponsorship program of Canada.

They have been telling us that the only way for now is this one or stay here in Indonesia that’s mean

status less and without basic human rights for unknown years more.

So, to build my kids future and have a normal life we keep praying to God for provide people who will

support us for providing the sponsorship cost.
