Please help Stephanie Braun

Hi everyone,

My daughter Stephanie, who is a single mom, was recently diagnosed with Gestational Trophoblastic Neoplasia Disease (GTN) which is a form of cancer that affects 1 in 20,000 women. It has a high cure success rate, so we are remaining positive and praying a lot. However, she will have to undergo a total of 4 weeks of chemotherapy in an 8-week period. She will have chemo, Mon - Friday for one week (starting April 17) then one week off. Repeat.(one week on, one week off) During this time, she will not be able to work or will have difficulty going to work. She is expected to be extremely fatigued and possible sores in her mouth. Short-term disability will only help with a fraction of her monthly house bills and groceries.

Stephanie is the most compassionate person I know. She would do anything for anyone. I remember about 10 years ago, one of her first jobs, she worked at Save A Lot. I picked her up from work one evening, and she asked if she could borrow some money. She had just gotten paid for babysitting, so I asked her why? She said, "well this lady came through my line today, and she didn't have enough money for her some of her groceries, and I felt bad, so I put in the rest of my money, so she could get the groceries that she needed." That is one of the many stories, of Stephanie's kindness.

By doing this for her, I hope that we can repay some the kindness and compassion that Stephanie has shown others in her lifetime.
