Please help Steve and Diana

Life changed in an instant for my sister Diana and her family when her partner, Steve, was involved in a devastating accident on Tuesday while driving near the Kyeamba gap. He was pinned in the driver's seat, trapped against the truck in front of him for over an hour while emergency services tried to free him, losing a dangerous amount of blood and coming terrifyingly close to losing his life. 

Steve suffered severe injuries, including two broken ankles, a crushed knee, and permanent damage to his leg due to the severed nerves and tendons. He was placed in an induced Coma in a desperate attempt to stabilise him and has just woken up. While we are incredibly grateful he survived, his road to recovery will be long, painful, and filled with extensive therapy. The physical trauma is only part of the battle- he also faces lifelong challenges due to his injuries. 

Steve is now unable to work. Meanwhile, Diana is already battling her own health struggles, undergoing treatment for Multiple Sclerosis while caring for their beautiful three-year-old son, who is autistic and non-verbal. Their family has only recently reunited, making this tragedy more heartbreaking.

With no income, mounting medical expenses, medical bills, therapy for their son, and the cost of daily care. Any donation, no matter how small, will help them keep a roof over their heads, put food on the table, and provide the care they all desperately need during this incredibly difficult time.
