Please Help Support Chevy & Family

On Friday night the Sands was hit hard when one of our best was in a devastating ATV accident. Chevy is the white sunglasses, crock wearing core of our neighbourhood with a smile for miles, a helping hand always to give, and never without time for a quick chit chat - to know Chevy is to love him and we are all sick with worry over this.

Chevy has been transferred to St. Mike’s in Toronto where he remains heavily sedated in ICU- he has suffered fractures to all his ribs, punctured lungs, with the full extent of his injuries being unknown as they wait to be able to do more testing. Chevy has a long, long road ahead of him regardless, and will be up off work for an undetermined length of time.

Chevy has a wife Tiff , and twin 8 year old girls Lexus and Sierra who are understandably beyond shaken at this time. Tiff is self employed and does not have benefits or the luxury of being able to take a paid leave while she navigates through this and Chevy is a marine mechanic who works seasonally. The last thing they need to worry about at this time is day to day expenses. This is where we ask for your help! Chevy never says no when he is asked to lend a hand, take a look at a motor, or anything else for that matter - we are hoping his selflessness will now be payed forward to him and his girls! Every single little bit will help alleviate some of the financial strains this accident has and will continue to cause this little family!
