Hello! My name is Janelle Gilchrist, Founder and Director of Janelle Gilchrist Dance Troupe. We are a Boston based contemporary ballet company that employs professional dancers. The dancers have opportunities to perform and express their artistry. I am beyond thankful to work with these talented dancers, and look forward to providing more opportunities for them!

This season, the Company introduced its newly added second company called the JGDT Community Ensemble. This Community Ensemble is composed of recreational adult dancers, who are passionate about dancing and performing for recreational purposes.

The season opening showcase called Enchanted Twilight was presented November 2nd and 3rd 2024. The dance performance was not only with the JGDT’s main company and Community Ensemble, but also by Boston based dance companies and solo freelance dancers.
