Please Help Support Jeter's Life-Saving Cancer Treatment
Donation protected
Hi all! And thank you for taking a moment to read. My sweet rescue pup Jeter was recently diagnosed with a “high-grade” Mast Cell Tumor on the side of his toe, which I learned means it is a particularly aggressive type of tumor, leading us to make the difficult but necessary decision to fully amputate the toe, while also rendering his one foot to look cannily like a (furry) chicken foot :’)
Jeter is currently undergoing chemotherapy, and afterward he’ll start an intensive radiation treatment regimen in hopes of killing any remaining cancer cells. The oncologists are optimistic that these treatments will drastically improve his survival chances and save him from a 9-12 month prognosis.
I remain hopeful and optimistic but the costs of his intensive care are significant. In an otherwise happy, healthy and spry young lil man, I’d be remiss to allow my pride to prevent me from posting this. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated by his dad and his 2 brothers, Jax and Joey. Well wishes are welcome too :)
Thank you for your kindness, and Happy New Year! (I’ll update here with his progress!)
