Please help support Jim fight the odds

Jim was recently diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer. Although his diagnosis is terminal, he, his family and friends are praying for as much time as treatment allows. Due to the type of cancer and how quickly it grows and spreads, surgery is not an option. Despite that avenue not being open, Jim is committed to fighting to beat the odds and spending as much time as he can with his family and friends.

Although he has insurance, his deductible is thousands of dollars and they will be facing a very large ambulance bill just to start with. He is currently unable to go back to work. He is hoping to be able to once treatment starts but that is still an unknown. He has a small amount of sick and vacation time but once that is exhausted, he will no longer have an income.

Anyone who knows Jim and Stephanie knows they would both give the shirts off their back to help someone. They would also know how independent and private they both are. Sometimes life throws something at us that forces us to accept that we can’t always do it on our own. This is one of those things. Jim and Steff are going to do everything they can to fight this and could use the help and support of their community.
