Please help support our girl Andrea.

Greetings Family, Friends, Coworkers, neighbors, Sororities, Fraternities, community members etc. 

On June 14th our dear Andrea Jackson, a proud new member of Delta Sigma Theta (currently of

the City of Phila's DHS Court Unit, but has worked in Sex Abuse, MDT & OSR for the last 19 yrs) and a friend of hers were unloading some items from the trunk of her car when a drunk driver  WITH NO AUTO INSURANCE crashed into them at a high-speed pinning her to the car crushing both of her legs. Unfortunately, Andrea had to have her left leg amputated from her knee down. She also sustained major damage to her right leg. While her medical team continues to work tirelessly to salvage her right leg, this tragedy has changed Andrea and her families lives forever. It goes without saying that she is in dire need of prayers AND financial support. In addition to mounting medical bills, copays and cost related to rehab, Andrea is an avid basketball and volleyball player so she will need a regular as well as an athletic prosthetic to readapt to the full & active life she is accustomed to. Andrea will also need to have a handicapped accessible bathroom & kitchenette built in her basement, prior to her discharge.

Andrea is in great spirits and just “happy to be on the wake-up list”. She thanks God and all who have called, texted, visited, sent cards, prepared meals for her and her children and prayed. She is determined to get thru this. Let’s help her.
