Hello, my name is Jamie Hicks. My dear friend Erica and her family welcomed their 5th child in May 2023, a beautiful baby girl. Unfortunately since their bundle of joy arrived, Erica has been struggling with health problems. Recently she suffered a severe medical emergency resulting in blood clots in her lungs. The doctor says she is lucky to be alive. After 5 days in the hospital, our prayers were answered and Erica was able to return home. She has to use blood thinners everyday at home, and is extremely restricted in what she is able to do. She has a very long recovery ahead of her.

We thank God that she is home healing. Erica will be out of work for a while as her body continues to fight this.
