Kara Craner, a beautiful mother, wife, daughter, and sister, completed her earthly journey on July 9, 2023. Kara loved life and fought hard for every minute of it, living as “pure sunshine” for all around her, including her devoted husband, John, and her cherished daughter, Riley. As John and Riley work to move forward as a family and honor Kara’s legacy with their own bond, they face many challenges.

Cancer is, in Kara’s own words, “a parasite that is only looking for the benefit of itself,” a parasite which saddled the Craner family with over a hundred thousand dollars in costs for treatment, special dietary needs, travel for care, a prolonged stay in Houston, lost wages, and now a funeral.

This funding effort is an extension of the earlier Go Fund Me effort organized to sustain the Craner family through Kara’s fight. John’s extended work family, the employees of SoundOff Signal, are committed to supporting the Craner family with love and where possible, money to offset the financial impact of this difficult time.
