Please Help Sweet Daisy Girl
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Taylor and I am looking to raise funds for my newly found best friend Daisy. Last week I saw her stranded in the middle
of a busy road…exhausted, hungry, thirsty, and wounded badly. As soon as I opened the door to my truck, she immediately jumped in. We drove to the local shelter to see if she had a microchip so that I could help get her back to her family. Sadly, I was informed that there was a very large chance she would be euthanized if her family didn’t come forward within the stray hold period. I knew there was no way that I could allow that to happen, so I offered to foster her until the hold period was up. In the meantime, I took her to a local veterinary hospital where they evaluated and cleaned more than 20 puncture wounds and large areas of rash on her skin. I found out she is only two years old and has been possibly overbred. The vet mentioned that she could have puppies as young as 2-3 weeks old, and if a family doesn’t come forward, she may have been purposefully dumped… the stray hold expired today, and it seems the vet was correct as nobody has come to find her.
Being her Foster Dad over the last week has been amazing. I had no intention of her becoming my dog, but I now feel that we found each other for a reason, and I couldn’t imagine my life without her!
She is in need of several vet visits to ensure she heals inside and out I am looking to train and register her as my support animal, as she rescued me as much as I rescued her! We truly need each other!
I have decided to swallow my pride and take a chance with this Gofundme. Please consider sharing on your page and know that every cent counts and is immensely appreciated. I am trying to cover her expenses the best that I possibly can, but Daisy coming into my life was so unexpected. I can promise that this incredible girl will finally have the life full of love that she truly deserves., and our page will be full of updates and pictures of the incredibly cute and resilient Daisy Girl!
