Please Help Terril and Joe Richey

Over the last 6 months, Joe and Terril Richey have been through a lot and could use help.

These two have been married for 29 years and have 4 children. Joe has been a volunteer firefighter for many years. Always giving and helping others in the community. Terril has been part of the fire department providing support services for crews and treasurer for the Firefighter association. These two have always been there for other and it's time to help them out. If you know Joe, he would never let anyone help him or his family. Sadly, he's been doing this for far too long without help. I had a conversation with him and he's asking for help.

Here's what's going on.

About six months ago Terril went into the hospital for brain surgery to fix an aneurysm. The surgery went well, but unfortunately, she suffered a massive stroke causing her to be intubated and lose her ability to breath. After staying in the ICU for many months Terril was moved to a skilled nursing facility that specializes in patients like Terril. Last week while fighting pneumonia and COVID 19 she suffered another stroke. The scans have found new damage. All the progress she has made has set her back. Unfortunately, she has been sedated unknown what the new damage is.

I'm asking that if you can give, please give. We could always use good thoughts as well. ICU and Skilled nursing facilities are not cheap. Joe has missed work and used his savings to keep everything afloat. All donations will go straight into Joe and Terril checking accounts. He travels every day to go see his wife at the skilled nursing facility or Hospital. Even when they say he can't come in he finds a way to go hold his wife's hand and talk with her. True love!
