Please help Terry, Serena and family ❤️

Hi, our names are Charlotte and Faye, neighbours and family friends of Terry and Serena. We’re hoping to raise as much funds as possible to help the family to relieve any extra stress they might endure in this sad time.

On what was meant to be a well deserved holiday away together, turning into something off a nightmare. Terry and Serena were enjoying their holiday in Lanzarote until 5 days in on the 3rd August, Terry suffered from a stroke. He was took to hospital in Lanzarote but unfortunately they couldn’t treat him there, so he had to be air flown to Gran Canaria as the hospital was a better place for him to be treated. He’s had an emergency craniotomy to open up his skull and relieve intracranial pressure on his brain which has worked, he’s very slowly coming off the sedation medication which is bringing him back round but very slowly. He’s still in intensive care but he’s making small steps of progress every day.

Serena is staying nearby to visit Terry on hours that she’s allowed in but this comes with a cost. Once home Terry won’t be able to return back to work straight away and this has a massive impact on everyday life.
