Please help the Alagha family in Gaza to have a future

My name is Mona Al Ghussein and I very much would like your help for the Alagha family.

I met Rawand through We Are Not Numbers. I was privileged enough to be her mentor for her writing. I will let Rawand tell her own story which I hope you will read with sympathy and understanding. Like many Gazans her family is suffering and her young brother Bader who has ASD desperately needs help . They need your help to rebuild their life and have a safe future.

Help Rawand and her Family rebuild their future. In the last few weeks they have been bombed displaced moved from area to area and now in a tent.

I am Rawand Alagha, from Gaza city, a freelancer translator and writer member at We Are Not Numbers.

We have dreams and ambitions, but as you know, the Israeli occupation destroyed our dreams and lives.

I was close to launch my own business, but the harsh war began and finished everything. I lost my saving money, my home, my laptop, my promising imitated business. Moreover, I lost all my freelancing jobs and work contracts with clients due to the cutout of the electricity and the internet.

My brother Fadel, 24 year-old completed his Bachelor degree and he aspires travelling to Canada and admit a Master degree in economic science to both study and work to build his future as the Israeli restrictions deprived many Palestinian youths to pursue their future.

My mother Reem, 52 is now in hospital and needs immediate care to recover.

My brother Bader, 13 year-old is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). There is neither rehabilitation facilities nor specialised centres to help him get over and be an ordinary child to normalise and to be included with his aged group in the mainstream education.
