Please Help the Alzaqzouq family survive the Gaza war

My name is Hélène Roy, a 44-year-old resident of the Paris area, France. For the past 15 years, I have been married to Shadi Alzaqzouq, a Palestinian. Over this time, I've developed a deep and lasting connection with his family in Gaza, especially as the conflict has escalated. Due to the severe limitations imposed by the current banking system in Gaza, Shadi's family cannot directly initiate a fundraising campaign. That’s why I am stepping in to raise funds on their behalf.

Shadi has got 6 brothers, all were living in Gaza when the war started.

In July 2024, still 4 brothers remained in Gaza, with their 4 wifes and 11 children aged between 1 and 12 years old.

Last October, they had to flee their home in Gaza City to seek refuge in Rafah, then in Al-Zawayda, near Deir el-Balah, and Al-Mawasi, near Khan Younis.

My four brothers-in-law, their wives, and their children led a "normal" life despite the blockade imposed since 2007. They worked, studied, raised their children, celebrated weddings and births, earned degrees, and nurtured dreams for a better future. Today, they survive thanks to the funds we send them through international bank transfers, with several thousand euros already collected and transferred since last November. However, this is not enough to cover all their essential needs.

The situation is only getting worse and worse in Central Gaza, at the moment we talk, scarcity of water is back and food prices has reached the sky. They need to buy better food with Fresh vegetables, and water.

I reached out to you on GoFundMe today to desperately try to extend the reach of my cross-funding.

The fund will reach me, in France, and will be sent directly to the family via International Bank transfer. This has already worked multiple times since last October and is safe.
