Please Help the Bender-Bayles Family

Hi everyone,

 

As most of you are aware Lismore NSW was inundated with the worst flood they've ever had on Monday, 28 February 2022!

My sister Tara Bayles, her partner Karl Bender and their three kids, Matayah (6), Karlos (4) & Luka (2), have lost almost everything they own after the flood waters went 1.5m through their house in South Lismore.

Luckily, Tara and the kids went to a friends house in Goonellabah around 11pm Sunday night before the water came up. But they only left with a few pieces of clothing in a bag and some games for the kids.
Karl and his brother stayed at the house and were on the roof for hours as the water kept getting higher and higher. Thankfully, around 1pm Monday they were rescued by a local in a tinny and taken to higher ground.

I know they won't ask for help and they're always willing to help other people, so that's why I've made a go fund me for them.
