Help preserve the Benson Multicultural History Museum!
Why
- James A. Benson, historian and founder of the Benson History Museum, passed in 2013.
- The museum served as his legacy which linked the history of Lawnside, New Jersey to the American experience and beyond.
- With the gracious support of donors, sponsors, and funds from the family, The Benson Multicultural History Museum was able to be temporarily saved by moving the contents of the museum to storage in August of 2020.
- Unfortunately, we are at risk of losing this rich collection because we no longer possess the funds to hold the items in storage.
- Please help us save the museum, reopen its doors, and make a lasting impact on current and future generations
- We need to know the stories of the shoulders we stand upon
