Please help the Carnarvon Queers!

Hi lovelies!
As some of you know I've been working in Carnarvon (which is a tiny dessert town in WA with a high Aboriginal population) for a good portion of this year and have been volunteering at a not for profit organisation called "Queernarvon" who are putting on a 2 day LGBTQIA+ event in Carnarvon- this organisation is the first of its kind in this region and it has been running for 2 years now! As we all know- mental health in rural communities, particularly amongst the LGBTQIA+ community where there is usually little representation and a higher prevalence of homophobia, is poorer than in metro areas and we want to help make a difference in this little town of ours.
This is going to be a 2 day event and Indigenous Rainbow Mob are at the heart of the event, with a Welcome to Country planned; GRAMS (Geraldton Aboriginal Medical Service) as major partner; film screening of "Black Divas"; Indigenous Drag Queens from the Pilbara; and local queer Indigenous celeb Matt Moncrief of My Kitchen Rules fame performing a special all-ages DJ set.
We need your help! I am trying to raise $5000 to help partly fund 2 Indigenous drag queens to perform at Queernarvon. This would be needed for flights, accommodation and performance over the 2 days.
This event means so much to this fabulous community who rarely gets the chance to be visible and accepted in safe and inclusive spaces.
Please share far and wide
Lots of love,
Ollie x
