Please help The Costello Family lay Steve to rest
Donation protected
Friends and family of the Costello family are asking for any help possible in laying to rest a great family friend, father and grandfather Stephen Costello. On December 16th, Steve was admitted to Stony Brook University Medical Center due to complications of COVID, where he was put on a ventilator. A week later, his wife (who he had been glued to since they were 9 and 11 years old) was also admitted from complications of COVID. On December 22nd, Steve, a strong-hearted family man, got his call from God and left this earth to become a guardian angel to his wife, children and 2 grandchildren. Steve was a family man to no end and would do anything, even in bad health, to be with his kids, grandchildren, and those he loved. He never let life hold him back from enjoying the small things. Whether it was his oldest grandson's soccer game or his younger grandson FaceTiming just to say "Nonno come over."
Now, his devoted daughter Vanessa who has been dealing with her own recent diagnosis of stage 4 Hodgkins lymphoma (and COVID on top of that), is left to be planning her father's funeral while her mother remains in the hospital from COVID. Her brother is also recovering from a surgery due to a horrific work injury and will have medical bills of his own to take care of. On top of this, Vanessa is taking care of her children while her fiance, a Navy vet, works overnights as a corrections officer.
Soon, medical bills and funeral costs will be piling up, and we all want to make sure that Steve has a proper funeral and final resting place that is fit for a man as great as he was. Times are very tough and anything at all will help the Costello family lay Stephen down peacefully in all God's grace.
