Please help the daughters of Keani Taylor
Donation protected
Aloha, my name is Elizabeth Mcgann and I am fundraising for my good friend Tiare Lum, whom I've known since the 7th grade at The Kamehameha Schools, Kapalama. Her mom, Keani Taylor, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 30, 2023. Keani had a quadruple bypass while living in Northern Michigan with her daughter Tiare in 2003, which negatively affected her robust lifestyle and long-term earning capacity. Unfortunately, at the time of her passing, she had no Trust or Will (nothing found yet). She does have life insurance, however, it does not take effect until her death certificate is received in 6-8 weeks. Kamakani Lum, Keani's oldest daughter, has been living in Massachusetts for the past 3 1/2 years. We would like to bring her home for Keani's Celebration of Life and to assist Tiare with moving, boxing up and going through Keani's personal belongings, especially those that have been kept in a storage container for many years. The cost of her ticket home to Honolulu is $1,100. We would also like to raise funds for Keani's portion of her rent for 2 months which totals $3,000, so Tiare has time to find a place while taking care of loose ends before the move. We ask you humbly for any donations to assist Tiare Lum and Kamakani Lum during this difficult time. Keani positively touched the lives of many of her dear friends, classmates (KS c/o '61), co-workers, and family members. She has been gently summoned back to the angels and will be sorely missed by all who remain behind. Mahalo Nui Loa.
